Hi everybody... I didn't drop off the face of the earth, though it sure feels like it.  In early December, I started a medical transcription course and it's kicking my butt.  It's a diploma course, 18 months, and I'm learning about medicine, not just transcription.   8)

On top of that, my son is being the anti-christ... tantrums at the drop of a hat, defiant, controlling, manipulative.  He's 8.  I'm doomed.

I'm still dropping by once or twice a week... hit and run posting, I guess.    :D

Hope everyone is doing well after the first month of the year.

I think it's great you are still hitting it hard with the medical transcriptionist courses....medical things can get rather difficult.  I think the 8 year old thing is typical.  I was rather a pain at that age.  Good luck with everything and don't feel bad about not being around all the time.  I've been somewhat of a hit and run poster myself lately...yourself and family first, forums later.  Good luck, I know you'll do great!

Good luck with all that! LOL!

Medical transcription is tough, but it's a good job and is steady work. Eight year olds are a whole other thing!

I hear Tazer is coming out with a kid-friendly version....

Thanks for the giggles, you two... I really needed it.  Today is a me-day... I'm off to the scrapbook store for 15 hours of scrapbook therapy... and I have over $350 in credit at the store, so I'll get some retail therapy as well.  Woohoo!

Hey rlrose328 - keep up the hard work!  Kids - yeah.  My 6yo is becoming angst-ridden.  Its down-right weird.  The 4yo is developing a lot of attitude (which I'm sure she gets from her mom    ).  You have my empathy....
